In the year 2008 we established a music academy at The Goddess Garden Spiritual Center in Cahuita, Costa Rica. The courses and workshops are held by Pandit Satyendra Deo Sharma (Swami Satyendra). Sitar Maestro.
Indian classical music, based on Raga tradition. The language used for singing is Sanskrit, the oldest language known to Hindus. The Hhindu Gods Brahma and Saraswati (husband and wife) created this music.. There are three main uses: meditation, devotional ceremonies for the gods and entertainment for human being. Since the nature of raga is pure music, all people of various nationalities can experience its peaceful effects on the mind, body and soul.
We like to start the classes in Sitar, Tabla, vocal singing and chanting Mantras and Indian traditional songs. All the instruments are available at the place. Therefore, I would like to invite my friends and all the persons from all over the countries to come and learn music and meditation in this wonderful place. Take this oportunity!!
