Foreigner ownership rights are the same as Costa Rica nationals and are protected by the constitution. Neither citizenship, nor residency, or even a presence in the country is required to owe land. There are regulations which apply to everyone if buying beach front property within 200 meters of the high tide mark.

How is the Eco-Resort owned?

Each lot will be owned by a separate newly incorporated Costa Rican Unlimited Company. This arrangement gives you, as an owner, benefits of maximum protection and flexibility concerning title transfer and tax benefits. The Goddesgarden eco-resort will be regulated by a set of rules, and the administration part will be run by THE GODDESSGARDEN S.A.

Can I sell my property if I want to?

Of course you can sell your property if you want. This can be easily handled as transferring your Costa Rican Unlimited Company to another person.
